Nikolai Zagrekov’s Memorial Flat-Museum will open after reconstruction in Berlin

After a two-year period of reconstruction, Nikolai Zagrekov’s Memorial Flat-Museum will be opened in Berlin, Spandau, in March 2006. The house was designed and built by Zagrekov during the 1930’s. The artist often worked as an architect during his lifetime. The Flat-Museum occupies a part of the ground floor, which was the artist’s flat and studio.

The new exhibition comprises approximately one hundred of his works generated mainly during the 1920’s and 1930’s, After reconstruction of the gallery, a small conference room and a professionally equipped depository for the Museum collection was added.
