Exhibition "Face. Image. Time. Image Rights in Art: from modernism to modernity "runs from 18 September to 13 December 2009 in the Cultural Foundation" Ekaterina "in the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art. The idea of the project belongs to the founders of the fund Ekaterina and Vladimir Semenikhin. Exhibition is devoted to the history of the image rights from the first drawings of archaic to modern experiments in the exposition includes 115 works from the collections of the Fund, most of which is demonstrated for the first time.
"Portrait of the wife of Nicholas Zagrekov exhibited in the section dedicated to Russian art of the late XIX - early XX century, along with the works of recognized classics of the domestic arts Konchalovsky, I. Mashkov, G. Semiradsky, I. Repin, I. Brodsky. The exhibition is built as thematically and arranged in chronological order and includes two sections: Russian art from 1917 to 1985, Russian and Western art from the mid-1980 to 2008. In the last section presents all the most famous contemporary artists such as Albert Yu, I. Kabakov, V. Pivovarov, OG Kulik, PP Pepperstein, V. Komar and Melamid, V. Dubosarsky and Vinogradov.
