In the anniversary year 2006-2007 the audience of the Tretyakov Gallery has been offered a new version of the exhibition "Art of the twentieth century. The main emphasis was placed on a variety of styles in painting of the first half of the twentieth century. Pointless and neoclassic 1910-ies, Monumental and chamber lyric 1920, Socialist Realism and art postavangardnaya 1930 are impressive contrast and enrich the understanding of the artistic process and the evolution of the masters in the Soviet era. In addition to traditional exhibits, the exhibition introduced a new reconstruction. Viewers can see not survived to this day celebrated kontrrelefy V. Tatlin, "space objects" Constructivists; image of the 1920's photographs complement A. Rodchenko.
